Hello, any one know of the Pennell family in Lympstone in the past history of the Village, i visited you once and it was a joy, the post office was a font of information, people delightful, Burch, Elliot, sivel, are some of the family names, oh and Hill, lovely to talk to you all. Hello Terry.  My maiden name is Pennell and I have very recently found that my family lived in Lympstone in the mid nineteenth century.  I am at a very early stage of researching so would be happy to collaborate with you to see if, as seems likely, we have Pennell ancestors in common.  Already I have discovered that the two Pannell men named on the war memorial are actually Pennell but the names were changed on enlistment - lots of that happened.  Please let me know if interested.  Hope you are still checking your message

Penny sorry i missed your message, use my email, or rather my wifes she is the Pennell researcher of Lympstone.
