Events in Seaton
A look ahead to a varied range of musical offerings in Seaton this coming festive season, with John Dalton
Chamber music lovers in the Seaton area will want to go along to the Seaton Music Concert at the Town Hall on Thursday, December 14, at 7.30pm. The Rautio Piano Trio will be making a return visit to East Devon. They will be continuing a Russian theme in these concerts, the pianist Jan Rautio coming from Moscow. But the violinist, Jane Gordon, comes from much closer to home. She was born and brought up in Exeter. This dynamic ensemble of outstanding prizewinning musicians met while studying at London’s Royal Academy of Music. Since then they made their Wigmore Hall debut in 2005 and have performed at prestigious venues throughout the U.K. Their Seaton programme includes trios by Mozart, Beethoven and Brahms.
