Events in Topsham
Tuesday December 12 sees Topsham Museum hold their annual Christmas Lunch at the Malthouse Globe Hotel from 12noon – tickets are available from Maureen Rogan on 874524 or Judy Sugden on 874124.
A Christmas craft fair is being held at the Matthews Hall starting at 11am and finishing at 4pm on December 10. For more information call Claire Girvan on 01392 876370.
The Commando Training Centre Royal Marines will be holding its Annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 19, at 2.30pm. Entrance is free of charge. Anyone wishing to attend please contact Ada Follett 01392 874596, giving name of driver, car registration and passengers names.
Topsham’s annual cross-denominational Children’s Carol service takes place on Saturday, December 16. Starting at 10.30am at the Holy Cross Church on Station Road, the children will visit all the Church’s in the town.
The following day, Sunday, December 17, sees St Margaret’s church hold their annual carol service. The service starts at 6.30pm.
On Friday, December 22, St Margaret’s Church Carol Concert by Candlelight takes place from 7pm.
Other Christmas services and events at St Margaret’s include the Christmas Eve Crib service from 6.30pm, followed by Midnight Communion from 11.30pm.
Christmas Day services at the church are at 8am and 10am.
