FREDDIE the cockatiel was happily chirping away in his cage whilst on his very first camping holiday in Swimbridge, near Barnstaple, on Wednesday, July 23, when a freak gust of wind blew his cage over and he got out. Most of the fellow campers went out of their way to help to try and capture him from trees, but unfortunately Freddie, having no outdoor experience at all and not knowing what was best for him, flew off towards the village of Landkey and has not been seen since. The owners say that he is he is very timid and it's doubtful that he'll survive longer than a week or two. If you have found Freddie please contact Stuart and Laura at stuandlawz@btinternet.com
