Tickets are now on sale for the Sidmouth Folk Festival Grand Draw, with a chance of winning £1,000.
It is a new initiative to bring in income for the charity arm of the festival, Sidmouth FolkWeek Ltd, which funds the workshop and participation programme.
As well as the £1,000 top prize, there's a £200 prize and several items donated by festival artists and local businesses to be won.
Tickets are £1 each and on sale now at Sidsoft in Church Street, McColls News in Fore Street, TBH Solicitors in Vicarage Rd, Woolbrook News and The Swan on York Street, as well as at the Tourist Information Centre.
During the festival itself they will also be on sale at the festival’s merchandise stalls and other venues around the town. The draw will take place on Thursday, August 10 at the evening Ham Marquee concert.
The Sidmouth Folk Festival runs from Friday, August 4 until Friday 11, with two pre-festival special concerts: on Thursday 3 featuring Fisherman’s Friends, and on Friday afternoon with Barbara Dickson.
