A party was held this week to celebrate the merging of Sidmouth Methodist Church’s Wesley Guild and Thursday Fellowship.
The new group has been named the Sidmouth Methodist Church Wesley Guild Fellowship and will meet at the Methodist Hall every Tuesday at 2.30pm.
At its first meeting the minister, the Rev Steve Santry, gave a talk on ‘Autumn, Harvest, Halloween, Melancholy and delight.’ The group then enjoyed homemade cakes.
Next week Ann and Paul Skinner will talk about ‘Guild Holiday Memories’.
In future weeks there will be a variety of speakers and activities, and there will always be a cup of tea and biscuits as well as an opportunity to chat and share experiences.
