Giants, a dragon, Morris dancers and musicians celebrated St George's Day in Sidmouth on Sunday, April 21.

The figures of George and Sabra were joined by the Sidmouth Steppers and Otter Morris, along with musicians and drummers.

The group gathered at Blackmore Gardens and then made their way to The Anchor for 12 noon, followed by several stops for music and dancing in the town centre on on the seafront.

There was even a demonstration of dragon-slaying, with the brave knight dodging real fire from the mouth of the beast as he struck at it with his sword.

Sid Vale Community Productions, the Sidmouth Steppers and Otter Morris have thanked all those who came out to support them and enjoy the celebrations.
