Allotments still available in Ottery and other news

Ottery Town Council say there are still several plots available at the town’s allotments. Read this and more.
PLANNING: Ottery Town Council’s planning committee is meeting on Monday, January 28 in the Old Convent, starting at 7.30pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
CAR DAMAGE: Police are appealing for information after another vehicle has received key damage in Ottery.
PCSO Maria Clapp said the vehicle was parked in Long Dogs Lane near to St Mary’s Park, and the incident took place on Thursday, January 17, between 10.25am and 2.10pm.
She said if anybody has any relevant information about the incident they should call police on 101 and quote crime reference KO/13/20.
ALLOTMENT: Ottery Town Council say there are still several plots available at the town’s allotments if green-fingered residents want to start growing their own.
It said it had both full and half-plots for rent, priced at £27 and £13.50 per year respectively.

MEN’S FORUM: The next meeting of the Ottery Men’s Forum takes place on Wednesday, January 30, at 3pm in Institute, Yonder Street.
The speaker is Phyllis Baxter, who will be showcasing photos of the town through the seasons.
LIVE MUISC: A concert featuring the ‘Diamondogz’ to raise money for charity is taking place in The Institute on Saturday, February 2.
Tickets cost £6 each, and are available from Michelle on 07715609358, or from the Tourist Information Office on 01404 813964.
It starts at 7.30pm; there will be a licensed bar, and all profits go the British Heart Foundation.
