Francesco is an award-winning watercolour and oil artist who flies all around the world painting and leading workshops.

Cathy Osbond, director of the Old Fore Street academy, said: “We had a fantastic time.

“Francesco is a very knowledgeable and fabulous artist who taught us such a lot over the three days.

“We also had a chance to paint outdoors as the weather was kind.

“We have invited him over again next year and he has agreed.”

If anyone would like to book up for next year’s workshop, contact Cathy on 01395 516284 or

Paintings by Francesco will also be included in the next exhibition at the academy, which starts next Saturday (October 21).
