International guests who had never seen ‘real snow’ before, braved the cold for their very first snow day.

While most pulled on hats, coats and gloves, the group of students from Brazil ventured out in their swim wear.

The youngsters are staying at Alpine Park Cottages on Exmouth Road while they study tourism and hospitality at Exeter College International.

Francieli, one of the students, said “It was amazing, such a beautiful view and everything so white, we were not expecting to have that much snow, but it was great to have the experience.

“It was fun to make a snow and take lots of pictures. We love the snow day. We really enjoyed the opportunity, it was very cold but we loved it.”
