BREAKING: Head-on collision outside Sidmouth

Police were called to a two-car head-on collision on Seaton Road near Sidmouth at around 3.25pm today (Tuesday).

The incident took place between the Hare and Hounds and the Three Horseshoes pubs.

Fire and ambulance services are also in attendance.

One of the two vehicles ended up on its roof and fire crews had to use cutting equipment to extract the occupants.

Police have closed the road for the time being. The air ambulance is in attendance.

There is no information on any injuries at this time.
