Burglars broke into Sidmouth home while owners slept

Burglars broke into a Sidmouth home to steal a laptop and some keys, while the owners slept in bed.

Police are investigating a break in that happened on Convent Road in Sidmouth in the early hours of Thursday, January 4 between 4.40am and 6.30am.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokeswoman said the incident was currently under investigation and enquiries were ongoing.

Anyone with any information or who may have seen anything suspicious should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
