A charity quiz organised by the Otter Valley Inner Wheel Club managed to raise £2,000 for Hospiscare.

Joint club presidents Eleanor Watson and Monica Highnam presented the cash to long-term Hospiscare volunteer Gwynneth Davis at the club’s January meeting.

The annual quiz at West Hill village hall in November attracted some 150 participants, with proceeds from the entry fee going towards the construction of the charity’s new day facility in Honiton.
