Ottery St Mary Choral Society is hosting its annual Christmas Concert at the parish church. Read this and more.

PRISON EXPERIENCES: The next Ottery United Reformed Church-sponsored men’s breakfast takes place at the Lamb and Flag pub on Saturday, November 24.

The guest speaker is Dave Fulford, who will tell of his prison experiences, entitled ‘Imprisoned for Crime, Imprisoned for Christ.

VOLUNTEERS: Ottery St Mary Help Scheme is looking for volunteers to help out the charity give assistance to people in the community.

The group has had several people retire from helping out and is looking for new blood to get involved, whether as car drivers, visitor, trustee, treasurer, promoter, fundraiser helping with support groups or even just making tea.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT: Ottery St Mary Choral Society is hosting its annual Christmas Concert at the parish church on Saturday, December 8.

The main choral work will be Schubert’s Mass in G and the society will also be performing some festive carols.

Afterwards there will be a chance for a festive drink and a mince pie, and tickets are available from Stagestruck. For more details call Liz Hooper on 01404 42116.
