BREAKING NEWS: Snow has closed Sidmouth College early – but exams are expected to go ahead as planned.

The school shut at 12.30pm and buses were arranged to take the students home, with those unable to get back allowed to stay with teachers until they could be collected.

A message to parents said this week’s GCSE and A-level examinations are expected to go ahead as planned.

Sidmouth College will inform parents and students of any further closures through its website, BBC Radio Devon, Heart FM and the Devon County Council website.
