Crowds at the finale of Sidmouth FolkWeek were wowed by a firework dragon Gandalf would have been proud of.

Last Friday’s torchlit procession came to a climax with a pyrotechnics display, when Ed Dolphin snapped this spectacular beast.

He said it was just like the display wizard Gandalf puts on in the first film of JRR Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings trilogy.
