Host of paintings from well-known artists displayed in Sidmouth summer exhibition

Art lovers have until the end of the weekend to catch a glimpse of a special exhibition in Sidmouth.

A number of west country artists will be exhibiting their work at East Devon 
Art Academy, in Old Fore Street, including Paul Weaver, Neil Hampson, George Hutchinson, Catherine Osbond and Victoria Goodman.

There will also be paintings by nationally known artists, including Roger Dellar.

Among the art which will be on display will be works 
in oils, watercolour and acrylics.

Subject matter will also include local landscapes, seascapes, wildlife and figure works.

As well as original paintings, there will also be cards and prints for sale.

The exhibit is open until Sunday (July 8) everyday, between 11am until 5pm.
