EXTENSION: Plans have been submitted to extend a listed building in Topsham.
The owners of 42 The Strand want to build a ground-floor extension to the east of the property.
The plan will now be considered by Exeter City Council.

APPLICATION: The owners of a Clyst St Mary home have applied to extend it.
The plan would see a two-storey side extension being built at 29 Winslade Park Avenue.

The owners of The Lodge in Victoria Road want to knock down part of a boundary wall to create vehicle access and parking.
The plan will now be considered by Exeter City Council.

ROADWORKS: Upcoming closures have been announced for the A376 between Clyst St George and Clyst St Mary.
The northbound carriageway will be closed to through traffic between 10pm and 6am on the night of February 12 and February 13.
There will be two further closures in March.

NEW FACILITIES: Topsham’s RSPB reserve at Bowling Green Marsh has received a makeover.
A new disabled parking space and bicycle racks were installed, along with new information signs, a new pathway to the Clyst platform, and a new surface on the platform itself.

FUNDRAISER: A Royal Marine who was the first British triple amputee from the conflict in Afghanistan is giving a talk in Topsham.
Mark Ormrod will be appearing at Matthews Hall this Tuesday to raise money for Royal Marines charity The C Group.

The event is being organised by Exeter Southernhay Rotary Club.
