Police are appealing for information after two cars were vandalised in Ottery over Christmas. Read this and more.
DAMAGE: Police are appealing for information after two cars were vandalised in Ottery over Christmas causing ‘hundreds of pounds-worth of damage’.
PCSO Maria Clapp said the vehicles were parked in Coleridge Road during the festive period and received ‘considerable key damage’.
She said: “The repairs are going to cost several hundreds of pounds, which the owners cannot afford.”
The PCSO said if anybody can help police with their investigation they should contact officers on 101, quoting reference number KO/12/737.
FLOWER CLUB: Award-winning national demonstrator Tracey Griffin was the guest at the latest Ottery Flower Club meeting.
Her design won Silver-Gilt Grenfell award at RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year 2010, and she showcased various Christmas-themed arrangements which could be customised for home use to try and inspire those who attended the event.
PANTO: Ottery Community Theatre’s production of Robin Hoodie continues tonight and on Saturday in the Institute.
Evening shows start at 7.30pm, and there is a matinee at 2.30pm tomorrow.

JUMBLE: Ottery Scouts will be out and about in the town on Monday and Tuesday making collections for this year’s annual Giant Jumble Sale.
There is also a van in McColl’s car park in West Hill for donations tomorrow, and the sale starts in the town on January 26, continuing the following Saturday.
