Officers have been unable to track down the suspect - who struck at Nat West in High Street on August 20, 2013, at around 3.30pm – and have asked for the public’s help.

“He entered the bank and used a fraudulent cheque and a fraudulent driving licence to withdraw £4,000 from the bank in the name of a company,” said a force spokesman.

The suspect is described as a white male, six feet tall, of stocky build and in his early to late 40s.

He was clean shaven, had a pale complexion and short, cropped dark hair and was wearing a ‘scruffy’ dark suit with a white shirt and no tie, say police.

Anyone who recognises the man is urged to call police on 101, crime reference: KS/13/489.
