THE Saddlers Arms is open for business.
The new landlord and landlady Darren and Tess Notman are pleased to welcome customers old and new to the well-known public house.
The couple and their two young children intend to make the place a family orientated place - and with this in mind plan to have a huge play area for families including climbing frames, zip line and lots of great thing to play on as well as plenty of animals to see within the next week or two.
Inside the kitchen and dining area are currently being refurbished.
Tess told the Journal: “We used to visit the pub regularly as customers and I felt that the place just needed someone to love it, so when we found out the place was available we jumped at the chance to turn things around and make it a family friendly environment and what we as a family would like to see.
“We plan to hold regular family quizzes and many other events throughout the year as well as provide good home cooked fresh food.”
