Rural communities invited to crime prevention event

Farmers, rural businesses and communities are being urged to attend an event aimed at preventing the crimes which affects them.

Attending the event at Westpoint near Exeter next Friday will be Devon and Cornwall Police, the Country Land and Business Association and the National Farmers Union, as well as a range of experts and traders.

Members of the rural community can find out about Farm Watch, Horse Watch and Neighbourhood Watch, as well as advice on firearms, wildlife crime, fly tipping and illegal occupation.

It takes place from 10am to 5.30pm, to book visit www.regonline.co.uk/claswevents.
