There are more road problems this evening on Newton Poppleford’s Four Elms Hill.

Temporary traffic lights are in place due to water mains repairs.

There is slow traffic in both directions.

The roadworks are yet another cause for commuter delays on this difficult stretch of the A3052, the Exeter to Lyme Regis road, passing near Sidmouth.

Earlier this week there was a four-car collision on the hill, which followed a fatal car crash on the same stretch the week before.
