Search called off after police locate ‘distressed’ man in a pub at Honiton

Coastguards joined police after reports of a ‘suicidal’ man at Lyme Regis harbour yesterday afternoon (Sunday)

Officers searched the area around the Cobb, at lunchtime, while further investigations were undertaken.

Dorset Police later confirmed the man was believed to actually be located in a public house in Honiton so all units were stood down.
