Take a ride on the railway at Peco

For those looking for a family day out, they need look no further than what is on offer in East Devon.

Peco is located high on the hillside above the picturesque fishing village of Beer overlooking the sea.

Across the site is the manufacturing production of the world famous PECO products, the team behind the Railway Modeller and Continental Modeller magazines.

Not forgetting one of the West Country’s best loved tourist attractions; perfect for families, garden lovers and model railway enthusiasts.

Pecorama is home to the mile-long Beer Heights Light Railway and the famous PECO Model Railway Exhibition and Shop.

For children there is a variety of outdoor play equipment, as well as an indoor soft play perfect for all weather conditions. Test your skills in a game of Crazy Golf, or adventure out to the ‘Wildway Walk’ to visit Crawlie Hall Bug Hotel and the Zip Wire.

We have beautiful themed gardens and in September they are looking their best.

During our low season from October 31, the Model Railway Exhibition and shop, Garden Room Restaurant and Play Station Soft Play area are open but the Beer Heights Light Railway and Gardens close until Easter 2019.

The Station Gallery will be open for special events including weddings and conferences, with onsite catering facilities available.

Children’s birthday parties can be booked throughout the year.

Autumn half-term and Hallowe’en are approaching; events will run from Saturday, October 20 to Wednesday, October 31; where you can ride the Beer Heights Frights Ghost Train for Hallowe’en.
