Two injured after farm vehicle topples at Escot Park

15:23 18 August 2014

Archant

Fire crews were called to Ottery’s Escot Park after reports of two people were trapped under a piece of heavy machinery.

Two engines from Sidmouth and Honiton and a heavy rescue vehicle from Middelmoor arrived to find the two people injured but not trapped under the telehandler, which had fallen on its side.

Crews assisted paramedics removing the casualties to the air ambulance and both were conveyed to hospital.

The incident happened at 11.40am.

The venue hosted the Beautiful Days music festival over the weekend.
