Motorists are facing disruption in East Devon this afternoon with wind and rain causing further problems.
At 3.15pm, Devon Highways reported that the B3179 between Woodbury and Clyst St George would be closed due to flooding.
It later reported that the A376 would be closed between Clyst St George and Clyst St Mary.
Yettington is said to be impassable due to flood water, and a tree is reported to have come down at Inner Ting Tong near Budleigh.
Station Road in Sidmouth has been blocked by a fallen tree, and there are reports that Exmouth Road at Colaton Raleigh has also been partially blocked by a tree.
A tree blocking the road is also reported on the A375 at Putts Corner towards Ottery St Mary.
Another tree which was partially blocking the road on the A3052 near Newton Poppleford is now reported to have been cleared.
The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for Lympstone, Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton, Honiton, Ottery St Mary and Sidmouth, including the River Otter and River Sid, and also the River Clyst at Clyst St Mary.
There are also flood alerts for the Rivers Axe, Coly, Yarty, Umborne Brook and coastal streams from Branscombe to Axmouth.
