A WARNING has been issued to graffiti vandals who struck twice in the space of a few days in an upmarket Sidmouth suburb and on the beach.

The spray-paint-wielding culprits have been warned police take such matters ‘very seriously’.
Offenders have used the cover of darkness to ‘tag’ a garage door in Bickwell Valley and a wall on the seafront.
“It’s very pretty but not the sort of thing that happens around here,” said surprised Bickwell Valley resident Margaret Adams.
“It takes a few seconds for someone to do but a lot of time and public money to remove it,” said Sergeant Andy Squires.
