Winifred Ada (Aunt Win or Great Aunt Win) died peacefully in hospital on 23rd July 2008 aged 93 years surrounded by close family. The burial was at Sidmouth Cemetery, next to her sister Rene, on Tuesday 12th August. She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Win was one of the kindest, most caring people you could meet, she always put others before herself. Following retirement as Head Mistress of Causeway Green Infant School, Sandwell, W. Midlands she retired to Sidmouth with her brother Fred, living close by to their sister, Rene. The memories are only good ones, Winifred Ada was a true blessing to all of us who were lucky enough to know her.
