HATS off to Sidmouth Youth Theatre for avoiding the predictable in its quirky choice of musical numbers for a production inspired by West End shows.

Showtime Three boasted a programme that tested its cast and surprised its audience, with students bringing a diverse range of music and dance to town with the panache and professionalism that we expect from the youth theatre.

Under the expert direction of Angela Davies, students experimented with, and executed well, hits ranging from jazz to modern-day disco, enhanced with slick dance and dramatic delivery.
