STAFF and residents of Rose Lawn Care Home paid tribute to their manager who is retiring after nine years of loyal service at a surprise presentation .

The party was a joint retirement celebration for Margaret Haxton, 62, and her husband, Colin, 70, who also worked at the care home as a part-time administrator before he retired a month ago.

Margaret and Colin, who live in Chagford, were presented with a number of gifts including a holiday to the winter markets in Antwerp.
