Tributes to Titanic survivor Elizabeth Gladys Dean (Millvina) CLOSE relatives of the last survivor of the Titanic, who died last week, have spoken of her zest for life and love of Branscombe- her birthplace. Described as a lively soul Elizabeth Gladys Dean, known as Millvina, died in a Woodlands nursing home in the New Forest   Tribute to Guy Sadler Guy by name and a wonderful guy to his many friends. So ran the tributes this week to Guy Sadler, a well known Sidmouth personality who has died, aged 82, in the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital after a long illness.   Tribute to Phyllis Channing SIDMOTHIAN and former Sidmouth Arts Club leading lady Phyllis Channing, took her final curtain call after dying peacefully in hospital at Exeter aged 93. Scottish-born Monica Lock (nee Irvine), who died in hospital on Saturday, January 31, aged 80, taught at Manstone Infants then Kentisbeare village school.   Tribute to John Griffiths 18-12-08: Representatives of sports clubs in the Sid Valley joined family at the funeral of John Griffiths.
