The continued good weather has seen more golfers taking part in the latest club competitions at Sidmouth Golf Club and on Monday, 35 members played in the club Stableford and Seniors Eclectic.
Steve Nunn topped both leaderboards with a solid 41 points. Paul Renken on 38 and Nigel Sharp with 36 took the minor places. Jonty Clews still leads the Eclectic with a nett 51 from Phil Spencer on 56 with Steve Nunn getting close also with 56.
In the Friday Stableford, it was Russell Bess who won this week with an amazing 45 points, well ahead of second-placed Colin Craven on 36, with Iain Roberts taking third.
On Sunday, an Improvers 9-hole competition was comprehensively won by Michael Hext with 25 points. Jonty Clews, who seems to have a foot in both camps, took second with 24, with next best Ian Phillips coming third.
