The ladies section at Sidmouth Golf Club took part in the Ladies Medal on Wednesday, April 17.
The winner was Liz Chance with an impressive Nett 71, second place Maria Clapp with a close Nett 73, and third place went to Sheila Faulkner with Nett 76.
Ros Eaton won the putting competition.
The ladies then enjoyed a perfect day for golf on Saturday, April 20 for the Lady Captain Heather Cowan’s Spring Meeting.
A total of 27 ladies took to the course in teams of three, enjoying a selection of Pimms, G&T’s, soft drinks and snacks to take with them to get the day off to a great start.
The ladies returned to the clubhouse to a beautiful afternoon tea followed by prize giving.
The worthy winners were Mo Borer, Heather Cowan and Debbie Snelgrove, who scored 71 out of a possible 72 points.
