AEGON GB Pro-Series on its way back to Barnstaple

13:53 23 January 2014

The AEGON GB Pro-Series Barnstaple will return to the Tarka Centre later this year as part of the Women’s ITF Pro Circuit.

The event runs from August 31 to September 7, and has attracted entries from the likes of Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong, Luara Robson and Heather Watson.

It is the highest level tournament in the UK after Wimbledon, the AEGON International in Eastbourne and the AEGON Classic in Birmingham.

Last year’s event saw players from 14 nations journey to North Devon too contest the Dartington Vase.
