Beer anglers take on England team

Beer and District Sea Angling Association is celebrating its 50th anniversary during 2013.

The club membership is around 50, and they fish one boat competition (14-16 members) and one shore competition (10-20 members) each month.

This year they are hoping to put on three or four special anniversary events to celebrate.

they already have a boat match organised against the England boat team, which will run Friday, June 21 to Sunday, June 23.

There will be a Fish-A-Thon that will also raise funds for the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital’s neo-natal unit. As a club they are also trying to catch 50 different species though out the year.
