A slightly better result was recorded against Dawlish in the County Trophy Inter Club competition with one rink drawn playing away and a winning rink at home.
The successful rink was Robert Cartlidge, Jim Wrench, Stuart Hamer and skip Brian Smith.
Two men’s friendly games against local clubs produced very close results. Two rinks travelled to Budleigh and lost the game by one shot.
