Trip organiser, Ian Taylor, said: The students had a wonderful couple of days. For them to have the opportunity to meet England Test star Jonathan Trott and bowl at Warwickshire first team professionals was very special.

“I am delighted to say that the boys most certainly didn’t let themselves down with their bowling and were highly praised by all the staff at Edgbaston for their behaviour, attitude and politeness.”

As well as the meeting with Trott and the coaching session the party also enjoyed a guided tour of the Edgbaston home of the club.
