Sidmouth were heavily defeated in their ECB South West Area Twenty20 semi-final in Gloucestershire.
Playing hosts Forcester Sidmouth were bowled out for just 77 in reply to the Forcester offering of 162.
Batting second Sidmouth endured the worst possible start losing big hitting Liam Lewis for nought and ending the first over with two wickets down and five runs on the board.
It was eight runs for four wickets after four overs and then 47-7 at the half-way stage before the tail added a further 23 to leave Sidmouth well beaten.
Will Murray’s men made the long trek back down the M5 knowing they are still very much in two trophies for they are still in the hunt for the Francs Clark Devon League title and next Sunday they will play Plymouth in the semi-final of the Devon Senior Cup, that match being played at Bovey Tracey.
