12:08 28 August 2014

Exmouth Jesters will launch their new basketball team for ladies with weekly training sessions early next month.

The first session will be held on Thursday, September 4 at Exmouth Community College Sports Hall from 7pm and run for one hour.

The club is hoping to enter the ladies into the Exeter and District League

next year, and before that play a number of friendlies for the team.

The sessions are open to all girls and ladies from 14 years and above and no previous experience is necessary.

The sessions will be targeted at being fun and will be held thereafter every Thursday.

Meanwhile the Jester’s men’s first team will, start to prepare for life at a higher level after last season’s promotion, begin training on Friday, September 5 (7pm to 9pm) also at Exmouth Community College.

All old and new players will be made very welcome at the session, be it the Thursday or Friday ones. For more information contact Chris Worcester on 01395267580.
