Archant

Exmouth Sea Angling Association junior member Ben Milliner claimed a magnificent catch last week, writes Rob Pennell.

The 10-year-old was fishing off Seaton last week when he landed a superb 7lb 11oz bass.

Making the catch all the sweeter was the fact that, on the night, his prized catch meant he had out fished his father Shane!

In another ESAA event, the Away Cup, fished at Slapton there was more success for Brian ‘The Viking’ Reed.

Fishing on a warm afternoon in good weather the fishing was not prolific! The minor placings in the competition were taken by Mike Richardson, Andy Browning, Andy Dunn and Dave Fuller.
