Exeter and District Youth League fixtures hit by the weather

The Exeter and District Youth League has been savaged by the weather since mid-November.

In the nine weeks that have followed Saturday, November 17, just 130 out of a possible 504 matches have been played across six age groups and 16 divisions!

On a regular match day, if all teams were in action there would be 72 games played from Under-11s through to Under-16s.

The division which has seen the most action is the Under-11 Division Three which has managed to play 18 games over the nine weeks.

At the other end of the scale sits the Under-12 Division One where yesterday’s game at Sidmouth was only the second game played in the section in nine weeks since November 17!

St Martins have been involved in them both, away at West Exe Rangers on January 5 and at Sidmouth yesterday.

The full break down of matches completed by age group since November 17 is; Under-11 Div 3, 18 games; Div 2, 9 and Div 1, 13; Under-12 Div 3, 8, Div 2, 7, Div 1, 2; Under-13 Div 3, 7, Div 2, 5, Div 3, 3; Under-14 Div 2, 10, Div 1, 10; Under-15, Div 2, 8, Div 1, 9 and Under-16 Div 2, 7 and Div 1, 6.
