West Hill’s Jack Hatswell scored twice in the victory.

Once again West Hill had four players represented in the shape of keeper Jordan Fowler and club mates Bailey Wallace, Jack Hatswell and Tom Simmons. Completing the East Devon involvement in the squad was Sidmouth’s Sam Pyne.

The Exeter League side dominated the first 20 minutes to such an extent that in that time the home side barely got out of their own half!

However, for all their possessions and industry, the finishing did not match the approach play!

North Devon broke the deadlock, somewhat against the run of play in the 20th minute, but that was the wake-up call the Exeter side clearly needed for they levelled within a minute when Hatswell danced his way through the defensive ranks to slot home.

Moments later Ollie Holman (CS Tigers) found space in the box to fire the visitors into the lead.

It got better for the Exeter side and their large contingent of travelling support when Josh Parsons (Okehampton) made it three before Hatswell struck again to send Exeter into a 4-1 half-time lead.

North Devon bagged a second from the penalty spot early in the second half, but the three goal margin was swiftly restored when Josh Griffiths (Broadclyst) netted.

Parsons completed the scoring late on.
