Musbury win does not look like saving them from the drop

21:11 05 March 2014

Despite a fine home win Musbury’s plight at the foot of the Evening Division One table was not helped as fellow strugglers Awliscombe A also claimed victory in the latest round of matches.

Heading into the final few games of the season the destination of the top honour is unclear with a single point separating the top three.

Evening Division Two saw home win for Membury and away win for Seaton Cliff. Upottery are clear winners for this Division, but it remains unclear as to who will join them in the higher division next season.

Afternoon Division One saw a home win for St Teresa’s whilst, in Afternoon Division Two there were home wins for Chard A, Combe St Nicholas and Seaton Cliff D.

Also played this past week was the return leg of Sidford and Awliscombe A in the League cup.

The draw means that Awliscombe go through to the next round where they meet Beer.

Colyton A also gained a home win against Sidbury A in the first leg of the same competition.
