Millwey Rise 0 Sidmouth 10

Sidmouth Under-15s completed their East Devon Youth League season with an emphatic win against bottom team Millwey Rise, writes Paul Newbery.

On an awful morning with water lying on the pitch Sidmouth could have scored a lot more, but settled for ten goals to celebrate winning the league.

Jamie Newbery led the scoring honours with a hat-trick and there were doubles from both Joe Miller and Connor Murphy.

The other scorers were Joe Buckland, Alex Stone and Henry Bartlett.

There’s one more game remaining for the team with the East Devon Youth League’s Presidents Cup final against Colyton to be played on a date yet to be confirmed.
