FootGolf is already played in numerous countries around the world, with the first tournaments being played in 2009, and having been introduced to the UK in 2012. The sport is played on a traditional golf course.

Each event has a maximum of 100 particpants, so places are limited, and players of any age, and gender are invited to come along and participate, should they wish to try and progress in the sport.

The UKFGA will also welcome new players of all ages and sex, to participate in these events. There will be an awards ceremony straight after the tournament, with food and drink available on site prior to and after the events.

The cost of entry is £15 per person for an 18-hole round of FootGolf, with guaranteed
