Geoff Sheppard Trophy triumph for John Jones

The Geoff Sheppard Trophy was contested at Sidmouth last week, writes Chris Roberts.

Previous winners of the prestigious Challenge Cup play for this trophy on an annual basis in memory of past captain and Challenge Cup winner, Geoff Sheppard.

There is also a celebration dinner organised by the most recent winner.

This years winner was John Jones with an excellent score of 39 points.

In second place with 36 points was club captain David Pepperell.
