There was some serious girl power on show at Sidmouth earlier this week, writes Chris Roberts.

A superb turnout of eighty plus were on the course for the bank Holiday Monday Charles Stanley stableford.

The best score of the day came from Ms Sally Billinghurst with a score of 41 points seeing her handicap cut by two shots.

The inform Duncan Taylor finished second with 39 points which included an eagle two on the 17th.

Third spot had to be decided on countback with Sidmouth B team captain Steve (Seve) Milton edging out Nell Holland after both finished with 38 points.

Duncan Taylor continues to head the Eclectic League table and the birdie table with totals of four in both!
