Archant

There was no action for the Sidmouth Chiefs on the first Saturday of the new year owing to a waterlogged pitch, writes Terry O’Brien.

That means the Chiefs will begin their 2014 action this coming Saturday when they travel to Cornwall to play promotion-chasing St Austell, who currently lie in third position.

There’s Blackmore action with the Quins entertaining Newton Abbot 2nds in a game that kicks off at 2.30pm.

There’s action also for the Sidmouth Colts who travel down to meet Newton Abbot Colts.
