Seaton judo students bring bakc brone medals from Bristol event

Seaton Judo Club sent five members to a competition at the Bedminster Judokwai in Bristol, writes Mike Parker.

All performed very well and no fewer than four returned with bronze medals.

Ruin Kilroy, competing in the Under 76kg, 1st Kyu and above, Kelvin Gurmin in the Under 81kg, 1st Kyu and above, David Lacey in the Under 90kg, 2nd kyu and below, and Mark Sinclair, in the Under 90kg, 2nd kyu and below, all won bronze medals (there are two bronze medals in each category in Judo).

Junior member James Lacey competed in the Under 30kg, 6th mon and above, and he did well to finish fifth.

The club is always delighted to welcome new members and the training times are, for juniors, on Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:30pm and seniors on Wednesdays 7:30pm-9pm. For more information contact: Mike Parker on 01297 631489.
